Timetables - 1st Semester Students


1st semester students will be able to view Winter 2014 semester timetable on srs.humber.ca starting on Sunday, December 1, 2013. Please be aware that tuition fees must be paid in order to view your timetable.

IMPORTANT: If you have the following course on your timetable BMAT 000, COMM 000, TMAT 000, and / or HUMA 000, you need to write the placement test, so we can enrol you in the corresponding course. The results can take up to two days and the records office will place you in the appropriate class. Please check your timetable periodically to see the updates.

If your program is listed under "Registration Guidebooks", you will be required to choose all or some of your courses on srs.humber.ca.

If you do not see your program on the list, a timetable will be assigned to you and available on srs.humber.ca starting December 1, 2013.

Please note that your timetable will not be accessible if you have not paid your tuition fees for the Winter 2014 semester.

Freshmen (1st semester students)

  • Timetables changes for semester 1 students require written permission from the program coordinator.
    If request is approved, the program coordinator will complete a Student Action Form (SAF) on your behalf. SAF requests typically take 24 hours for processing. Check SRS regularly to check the status of your request.

Returning Students

  • Timetables changes for returning students require written permission from the program coordinator, with exception of some of The Business School programs. If request is approved, the program coordinator will complete a Student Action Form (SAF) on your behalf. SAF requests typically take 24 hours for processing. Check SRS regularly to check the status of your request.
  • IMPORTANT:
    • The Business School students can visit srs.humber.ca to make changes to their timetable (providing there is space).

Part-Time Day Students

Lakeshore students are to visit the Program Coordinator for authorization for part-time day registrations.

All Programs with exception of the Business School North campus programs
If your program of study is not within The Business School, you should visit your Program Coordinator to register for part-time day courses. Program coordinator contact information can be found at Humber's Staff Directory here: http://directory.humber.ca/.
If the request is approved, the program coordinator will complete a Student Action Form (SAF) on your behalf. SAF requests typically take 24-48 hours for processing. Students should check SRS regularly to check the status of the request. Students will not be enrolled into courses until part-time registration begins on Dec. 16th.

North Campus

Registration for Part-time Day courses begins on Dec.16th.
You will be able to register for Part-Time Day Courses ONLY if you meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Your program of study is within The Business School (North Campus), excluding Degree programs
  • You are enrolling in 3 or less courses for the Winter 2014 semester
  • You are a current student or have been out of your program for less than 1 year

A list of General Education electives (GNED) is accessible via SRS; under Registration Services, click on "Available GNED North".

Please follow these steps to register for a Part-time Day course:

IMPORTANT: Requests should be submitted after December 16th. Requests received prior to this date will not be processed.

    1) Send us an email at registration@humber.ca:

    The following information is mandatory in order for the request to be processed:
    • Your Student Number, First Name, and Last Name
    • Phone number the student can be reached at

    2) List the courses you want us to enroll you in:
    • Business courses: Please add the course name, course code and section, (e.g. Principles of Management, BMGT 201 R2)
    • GNED (general education) courses: Please indicate your top 3 choices. Add the course name, course code and section (e.g. Option #1: Psychology: Introduction, PSYC 001 H1, Option # 2 Ethical Issues: PHIL 017 I1 and so on). We will do our best to place you in your first choice, but due to class availability, you may be placed in your 2nd or 3rd choice.

3) Check your timetable on SRS within 24-48 hours to ensure your request was processed as indicated and pay course fees.
IMPORTANT: If you were registered in error or would like to be withdrawn, you must email registration@humber.ca prior to January 17th 2014. If you do not email us within this time frame, the course(s) and associated fees will remain on your student record.

Profile 1: Students in semester 6 are to choose a pre-set timetable based on clinicals on Tuesday, December 17th at 7:00pm
Profile A (2nd Entry): Students in semester 6 are to choose a pre-set timetable based on clinicals on Tuesday, December 17th at 7:00pm
Profile B (Bridging) : Students in semester 6 are to choose a pre-set timetable based on clinicals on Tuesday, December 17th at 7:00pm
Profile 2: Part-time (Interrupted students): Following directions from your program coordinator, the Registrar's office will register you in your required course (s) . When you see the course is in your timetable, you will be able to pay for the course (s) through SRS by Credit card or Debit card. NOTE: Please contact your Program coordinator in case you have any questions.

Profile 1, A and B: Students in semester 8 will have their couses pre-loaded. Please check your SRS account for timetable

Assessment and Placement Tests (CPT Tests)

Most programs require students to enrol in program specific math and communication courses. To place you in the math and communication course best suited for your skills, all students are to write a placement test. Once you have completed the test, we will finalize your timetable.

BMAT OOO, COMM OOO, TMAT OOO, HUMA OOO

If you have the following course on your timetable BMAT 000, COMM 000, TMAT 000, HUMA 000, you are required to write your CPT Placement test. Once written, you will be placed in the correspondent course. If you have already written your placement test, please keep checking srs.humber.ca for the updated timetable.
