Timetables - 1st Semester Students


1st semester students will be able to view Summer 2014 semester timetable on srs.humber.ca starting on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Please be aware that tuition fees must be paid in order to view your timetable.
  • Sign on to srs.humber.ca
  • Under Registration Services, click on Timetables

IMPORTANT: If you have the following course on your timetable BMAT 000, COMM 000, TMAT 000, and / or HUMA 000, you need to write the placement test, so we can enrol you in the corresponding course. The results can take up to two days and the records office will place you in the appropriate class. Please check your timetable periodically to see the updates.

Timetables - Returning Students

If your program is listed under "Registration Guidebooks", you will be required to choose all or some of your courses on srs.humber.ca.

If you do not see your program on the list, a timetable will be assigned to you and available on srs.humber.ca starting Saturday, April 5, 2014.

Please note that your timetable will not be accessible if you have not paid your tuition fees for the Summer 2014 semester.

Timetable Changes

Freshmen (1st semester students)

  • Timetables changes for semester 1 students require written permission from the program coordinator.
    If request is approved, the program coordinator will complete a Student Action Form (SAF) on your behalf. SAF requests typically take 24 hours for processing. Check SRS regularly to check the status of your request.

Returning Students

  • Timetables changes for returning students require written permission from the program coordinator, with exception of some of The Business School programs. If request is approved, the program coordinator will complete a Student Action Form (SAF) on your behalf. SAF requests typically take 24 hours for processing. Check SRS regularly to check the status of your request.
  • IMPORTANT:
    • The Business School students can visit srs.humber.ca to make changes to their timetable (providing there is space).

  4. Please indicate your top 3 choices for general education course(s). Please note, we will do our best to place you in your first choice, but due to class availability, you may be placed in your 2nd or 3rd choice.

Business Bachelor of Commerce you do not need permission from the Program Coordinator to take these courses.

The Business School is offering ACT. 103 Degree First Year Accounting course (for those students who dropped or failed it). You do not need permission from the Program Coordinator to take this course.

Bachelor of Music (Prog. 2206-all profiles): You do not need permission from the Program Coordinator to register for Degree Elective courses.

Part-Time Day Students

All Programs with exception of the Business School programs

If your program of study is not within The Business School, please visit your Program Coordinator.

Business School

North Campus Business Students ONLY: Registration for Part-time Day begins on April 21.
You will be able to register for your Part-Time Day Courses ONLY if you meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Your program of study is within The Business School (North Campus), excluding Degree programs
  • You are enrolling in 3 or less courses for the Summer 2014 semester
  • You are a current student in Winter 2014 or have been out of your program for less than 1 year

Please see instructions below to register for a Part-time Day course:

To All Lakeshore Business Administration, Business Administration Co-op and Business Management students:

All courses in these three diploma programs are offered during the summer semester.  Courses from semester 2 of your program curriculum are offered during the day at Lakeshore campus.  Courses from semesters 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are offered during the day at North campus and many are available during the evening and/or online through Continuing Education.  

If you are considering taking one or more courses during the Summer 2014 semester, please read carefully.

Important Dates

Registration for evening/online classes: Available now through Continuing Education on Humber's website

To register as a full-time or part-time student:  Visit the Registrar at Lakeshore in A118  and ask to be set up for the summer semester

Full-time students:   Must pay tuition or arrange for a deferral before being able to choose classes through SRS
Part-time students: You pay per course at the time of enrolment in each course.  The Lakeshore Registrar in A118 will assist you with enrolling you in part-time courses beginning April 15th

To take courses at the North you do not transfer to the North campus.  You remain registered as a Lakeshore student.

 

North and Lakeshore Students:

Have you failed or withdrawn from the following courses in past semesters?

COMM., ESL., TMAT, BMAT, HUMA 024, HESL 024 & BUSINESS COURSES

Assessment and Placement Tests (CPT Tests)

Most programs require students to enrol in program specific math and communication courses. To place you in the math and communication course best suited for your skills, all students are to write a placement test. Once you have completed the test, we will finalize your timetable.

If you have the following course on your timetable BMAT 000, COMM 000, TMAT 000, HUMA 000, you are required to write your CPT Placement test.
