Beginning August 4 timetables and registration information is uploaded to srs.humber.ca. Your timetable may be revised, so it’s important to review it again just before classes begin. Remember, your fees have to be paid in order to register.

Viewing your fall timetable

• Sign on to srs.humber.ca
• Click on Timetables under the Service Menu
• Click on Fall 2010 link

If your timetable is not available on srs.humber.ca

• Have you paid your full-time tuition fees for the Fall semester? If not, your timetable will not be available. You can pay your fees on srs.humber.ca.
• Some programs require that you choose a timetable or individual courses, if you fall into this group, please check the Full-Time Registration link at srs.humber.ca

If you want to make course changes on your timetable

• Most programs require that you speak with and receive a note from your program coordinator or academic school.
• If you have been exempted from a course, you will need to come in to the Registrar’s Office to drop the course or visit srs.humber.ca to drop the course after the last day to add, September 13, 2010.

Important Dates

The academic calendar highlights important dates throughout the year. The academic calendar can vary depending on which program you are completing at Humber.

Students who have been registered into an elective holding course (GNED 000 / ADEG 000 / UNBE 000) and have already achieved success or have a transfer credit

• you can leave the elective holding course on your record and the registration office will remove after the last day to drop - this will not affect your GPA
• you can drop the holding course on SRS after your open registration date
• you can register into a course
  • upon completion of the course it will affect your overall GPA
  • for your program GPA it will only affect it if the course mark is higher than your previous mark

Humber includes Liberal Arts and Sciences courses in the curriculum of most programs and to place you in the communications and math courses best suited to your needs, you may be asked to take a placement test. Once you have completed the test, we will finalize your timetable. More information about assessment and placement tests please visit http://www.humber.ca/myfuture/placementtest.htm.

If you have the following course on your timetable BMAT 000 / COMM 000 / TMAT 000 / HUMA 000 and haven't taken your Assessment test

• Assessment Testing can be booked at416-675-5000
  
• Your results can take up to two days and the records office will place you in your appropriate class

If you are a full-time student your Photo is required, the photo on file will be used to make your Photo (Student) ID Card. This card allows you access to the gym, library, and may be required from security to validate that you are a student. To upload a photo to your student account, login to srs.humber.ca and select the option Manage Photo ID. The Photo should be a current colour passport quality and a true representation of you. It should also be clear, sharp and in focus image and a full front view of your face. Your initial Student Card is free, and replacement cards are $10 dollars.

- example GNED 000, THTR 000, ADEG 000, TRAV 000, etc.
- COMM 000, BMAT 000, HUMA 000 are not considered holding groups

PROGRAM
- student will pick all their courses - student will register into courses based upon their program audit

TIMETABLE
- students will be able to pick their timetable - students may have to resolve a module after
registering into their timetable - example UNB-Humber, Practical Nursing

Students who have been approved for OSAP, can pick up their loan and/or grant document on campus as of August 30, 2010 as follows:

To pick up and process OSAP funds, students must provide their:

• Social Insurance Card (S.I.N.)
• Valid Canadian Government issued photo identification e.g. driver’s licence, passport, permanent resident card, age of majority card, Canadian citizenship card or health card
• Banking information – a void cheque is preferred or bank account #, transit #, bank ID # and name and address of their bank
